We've tried to make the process as simple and quick as possible.

1. Input your car registration.
2. If you don't have an account at this point you will need to register by giving us a few basic details.
3. Add a price, mileage, images and an optional description of your car.
4. Make your advert as full and accurate as possible by adding any extras or accessories with our simple tick-box extras list.
5. All Done!

Your advert has been created and is viewable under "Your Account".

All of our car data is supplied by a third party data provider. Their scope covers the vast majority of UK cars however you may encounter problems from time to time with private registrations and newly registered vehicles. Imports are not covered.

Its FREE! All private listings are free and trade adverts are free in 2010.

All listings will expire after 1 month, however you may renew them as many times as you wish. Simply log in to your account and click the "Renew Listing" button for the relevant car.

You can easily renew your listing, simply log in to your account, select "view" on the relevant listing and click the "Renew Listing" button.

Set up a "Saved Search" with your requirements and receive email alerts in as soon as new examples arrive in our inventory.

Simply contact the buyer via the "Enquire About This Car" button, on every makeandmodel.co.uk advert, and start the negotiation process!

Once you have registered for an account you can add as many cars as you want to your wish list. They will be stored there so that you can easily view them each time you return to the site.

It allows you to compare up to 4 cars at any one time. Simply click the "Compare Cars" button on any listing and it will be added to the pop-up where you can view all key features of your chosen cars.

No. The makeandmodel.co.uk messaging system controls the flow of enquiry via our site; all private contact information remains confidential. Users' details will NOT be distributed to 3rd parties.

The only pieces of information that are public to registered private users are their names and any details they wish to add via the "Edit Profile" option.

Having an account allows you to take advantage of the following features:

Messages and Enquiries - check if anyone has enquired about your car(s) or responded to a message you have sent.

Listings - manage your listing(s), amend the car details, change the offered price and add further images.

Edit Your Public Profile and Stocklist - write a small bio if you wish and add a picture of yourself or your car. If you are part of the trade update your company profile, website, contact details and add your company logo.

Saved Searches and Wish List - save your favourite searches and choose to be alerted to any cars meeting your requirements daily, weekly or monthly. Add interesting cars to your wish list so they are always easily accessible.

We have designed the internal messaging system to negate those awkward first phone calls and to keep all of your contact details private. You can enquire about cars and chat to sellers/buyers directly on the makeandmodel.co.uk site.

There is absolutely NO cost to set up an account.

You can advertise as many cars as you want to, simply hit the "Sell Another Car" button in your account to add another advert.
